In a Joint Venture with Socitec France Wessex Mechanical has created Socitec UK to become market leader in the provision of metal isolator shock and vibration systems and to meet demanding applications in defence, aerospace, nuclear power and telecommunications markets.
Our mechanical engineering design services have been supplied to a wide range of industries including rail, ship building and the nuclear industry.

Wessex Technology Group have established a Heads of Agreement with Socitec HQ in Sartrouville, France, to set up a joint venture company in the UK called Socitec UK Ltd, which will market and sell the Socitec range of anti-vibration products.
The sales service will be under pinned by our mechanical engineering design and support services based in the UK, enhanced by Socitec's 30 years experience track record, for shock and vibration analysis of problems posed by its UK customers. Key markets for the joint venture will be Naval, Defence and Transport sectors.
Simon Taylor and Claude Prost will be Directors of this company.
